The day
Uchi + Uchiko site went live, we dined with friends at the much anticipated Uchiko. As expected, it was undeniably amazing. Each plate tasted better than the last. I heard "this is my new favorite" at least half a dozen times.
Whereas preview openings usually reveal flaws in the service, staff or menu – we experienced none. Our waitstaff was seemless with knowledge and timing. We dined for three hours and it felt like one. I can't wait to go again.
Special thanks to the Uchi team for making this a super fun project to work on, including Justin Esquivel at Cultivate PR who handled all the last minute design and approval details. And, of course, developer Anne Mitchelson for all her hard work in making the live site a perfect match to the original design.
